Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Sideline uses a small number of cookies and similar local-storage keys, only the ones needed to sign you in and remember how you like the interface. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Strictly necessary

A session cookie keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it the Service cannot tell one signed-in person from another, so it cannot be turned off while you use Sideline. It is set when you log in and cleared when you log out.

Preferences

A few keys remember interface choices so the app opens the way you left it, whether the sidebar is collapsed, and which view (list, board, or calendar) you last used. These hold no personal data and exist purely for your convenience.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how the Service is used, which pages are visited and how it performs. These measurements are collected without advertising cookies and are not used to build a profile of you or to track you across other sites.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will prevent you from signing in. Clearing the preference keys simply resets the interface to its defaults.
