Account details (name, email), workspace content you and your clients submit (requests, comments, files, time entries), and basic usage data needed to operate and secure the Service. The trial form collects your name, email, agency, and answers you provide.
To run Sideline: hosting your workspace, sending the notifications you and your team configure, replying when you contact us, and improving the product. We do not sell personal data, run third-party ads, or use your workspace content to train third-party AI models. AI drafting processes request context only to generate the draft you asked for.
Service providers that host and deliver Sideline, cloud infrastructure and database hosting (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), and payment processing (Stripe, for paid plans), each bound to use data only to provide their service to us. We disclose data if legally required, and we'll tell you when the law allows.
Workspace data is retained while your account is active and deleted on verified request or within 90 days of account closure. You can export your data anytime and may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at hello@sideline.io.
Data is encrypted in transit, workspaces are tenant-isolated, and access is role-based (including client-scoped visibility). No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you promptly.
If this policy changes materially, workspace owners get an email before the change takes effect.
